We’re on the lookout for a brilliant PR Account Executive to join our small team, to help us support our fantastic clients and grow our company. The hybrid role is predominately based from our beautiful office, set in the heart of the stunning Wiltshire countryside, just outside of Bradford-on-Avon. There is flexibility to work from home for some of this full-time role.

Reporting Line – Director

Job Purpose – To deliver excellence in performance across all clients and client projects.

To work effectively within the wider team, delivering work efficiently and on-time.

Overview – Eat PR & Marketing is one of the UK’s leading food and drink communications agencies. Providing industry-leading brands with effective PR and marketing support, Eat PR & Marketing prides itself on helping clients do better business. Working with media, trade associations, caterers and operators, the Account Executive role is an essential part of our team – ensuring we get the best written copy, the best coverage placed and maintain the best relationships with our partners, the media and more. A pivotal part of the team, we are looking for great organisation, creative thinking and bags of enthusiasm.

Details – Mon – Fri. 9am – 5pm. Office-based – Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire.

Salary – From £20,000

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Client Service

o Working with our senior team, establish yourself as a skilled implementer providing support, advice and insight in everything that you do:

  • Bring this to life with your written and visual content.
  • Understand your clients, their products, services and their aspirations and bring these to life with the media and other relevant trade communication channels.
  • Demonstrate this enthusiasm, understanding and commitment to our clients.

Insight, Strategy & Creativity

o Highlight industry data to ensure clients and our internal team are updated and informed of key industry developments as soon as possible:

  • Be aware that you are reading the media, not just looking for coverage
  • Keep pace with media developments in terms of contacts, titles and publishers.

Delivery

o Understand your client objectives and deliver your tasks accordingly:

  • Write interesting and creative press releases.
  • Ensure we NEVER miss a feature by maintaining accurate features lists.
  • Begin to develop a contact network with key media journalists.
  • Be organised and ensure regular tasks are delivered to the best standard automatically:
  • Accurately capture and evaluate all client coverage, as directed.
  • Own and prepare status reports and contact reports.

o Be a committed team player, constantly striving to achieve outstanding results:

  • Be punctual and manage your time effectively.
  • Become an integral part of our team and input your ideas to team sessions.

Commercial

o Be aware at all times of the need to deliver the best possible results for Eat PR & Marketing, by delivering the best possible results for our clients:

  • Constantly evaluate the services we receive from suppliers. Can we get it better, better value and quicker elsewhere – share your knowledge and experience with our team.
  • Actively participate, as required, in new business opportunities.
