It was a couple of months ago when Eat PR first caught my attention. I vividly remember the Instagram post: the Eat PR team taking part in the first Bath Waiters’ Race, set against the stunning backdrop of the Royal Crescent, raising money for Hospitality Action alongside many other esteemed local hospitality businesses. Even in stills, I could feel the team’s vibrant energy and genuine love for what they do.
So, I set about my research into what Eat PR is all about, and it made for impressive reading – remarkable global clients, incredible trips, professionalism, humour, hard work, celebrations, glowing client testimonials, awards… and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
Having spent my career in creative agencies working with food and drink consumer brands, with a strong background in project and client relationship management, a love of writing, and knowledge of manufacturing, I knew I had the opportunity to offer something valuable.
And here I am.
My expectations were (obviously) high – but they’ve been completely surpassed.
My clients are exciting, varied, and at the top of their game – from hospitality apprenticeship providers to market-leading professional kitchen equipment suppliers, centuries-old cognac, and Michelin-starred chefs and restaurants. Every day is different, and one thing I’ve learned is that it’s easy to tell a story when you feel privileged to write it.
I also love the organic way PR often happens. Yes, there are press releases, features, exhibitions, deadlines, and structure – but new opportunities appear daily through conversations, collaborations, and connections. This is a world away from the strict and rigid processes I had to stick to in D2C consumer packaging design, and it’s exciting! Just as I used to love seeing a project make it into store and on shelf, I now get a buzz if I see my words in print and letting a client know they’re featured.
Above all, though, it’s the Eat PR team that truly stands out – talented, open, and welcoming, each bringing their own unique skill set to the table. They instantly made me feel part of the team, always open to questions, no matter how big or small. I’m constantly impressed by what they achieve for clients, both individually and collectively, all carried out with humility.
I’m already proud to be part of the Eat PR team and really excited for what the future holds – especially the upcoming press trip to Switzerland!
No wonder Eat PR’s reputation in the industry precedes it, and the company has grown (and is still growing!) so quickly in just a handful of years.
